Mark E Pearson
Mark is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Annex Ventures as well as the Founder and CEO of Altamont Pharmaceutical Holdings. Mark has been investing in startup Technology and Life Sciences companies for over 20 years.
Mark is the co-founder and Vice Chairman of Drawbridge Realty, a real estate development and investment company, which owns over 4.5 million square feet of commercial real estate leased to technology and life science companies predominantly in the western United States. Drawbridge Realty's portfolio exceeds $1 Billion in asset value.
Mark was also the co-founder and Managing Partner of CRESA Partners, a 57-office national corporate real estate firm. In 2015, he sold his interest in CRESA Partners to Savills Studley, a $1.9 Billion international real estate firm.
Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Soligenix, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNGX), a late stage biopharmaceutical company, as well as the Board of Trustees of The Scripps Research Institute. He is also on the board of the Silicon Valley Children's Fund.
Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco and a Masters degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Ven N Reddy
Ven is a General Partner at Annex Ventures where he has been involved in pioneering early stage to Series A technology companies for multiple decades. Ven brings an array of in-depth technology experience integrating platforms and continuously building investor relations to help manage the firm operations. He is certified in SAAS and Enterprise Software.
He began his career at Intel Corporation in the Technology & Manufacturing Group as a Programmer/Business Analyst where he learned many of the industries fundamental skills. He’s held various positions at Alliance Semiconductor including the Director of IT where he managed several key functions including IT, product support, and marketing for the video graphics chipset product line.
Ven is a co-founder of SutiSoft, which he launched in 2009. SutiSoft is one of the fastest growing SaaS providers in the industry with a 97% renewal rate. He was the founder of XtraCool.com, a peer-to-peer network for Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Web, and Wireless users. He was also a co-founder of ArtInsider.com, an online retailer which was acquired in 2001.
Ven holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees from San Jose State University - B.S. in Information Systems with a minor in Economics; B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics.
Amar D Reddy
Amar brings a strong mix of both corporate and international banking experience that spans across business development, finance and risk management roles. With Amar's experience dealing with market entry and market growth companies, he is able to advise companies on new strategies and creative financing across various industries. Amar has led numerous international deals from due diligence to successful completion of financings, mergers, acquisitions and/ or IPOs.
In the past, Amar has set up corporate and institutional banking divisions in new markets and developed them into a $125 million portfolio by advising business groups with market capitalizations exceeding $5 billion.
Amar is highly skilled in developing complex financial risk assessment and prediction models using quantitative as well as qualitative data with a niche for probability-based valuation models.
Amar holds a Masters degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management - Kozhikode (IIMK). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.
